Spokane is a mid-size city located in the state of Washington. It is 110 miles of the Canadian border and 271 miles east of Seattle, and is roughly 20 miles away from the state of Idaho. The city has an estimated city population of 205,500, and an estimated greater metropolitan estimated population of 600,152. It was first explored by Canadian Explorer David Thompson and became a major economical powerhouse for the Eastern part of Washington State.
